After growing up in mid-Michigan, Emily moved to Asheville, North Carolina where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Carolina University. In pursuit of her dream to live on the west coast, she then moved to Seattle, Washington to work as a bedside nurse. In 2019, she began her journey as a travel nurse, which ultimately led her back to Michigan. She then completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Frontier Nursing University and became a board-certified family nurse practitioner. In addition to working in gynecology, oncology, and post-surgery in the hospital, she also has experience working as a sexual assault nurse examiner.

Emily is passionate about providing empathic, trauma-informed care to underserved populations including women, LGBTQ+, and minorities. Here at Alliance, she brings gratitude, dedication, humor, and honesty to her work.

Outside of her work and education, Emily spends her time traveling and seeking new experiences. She enjoys seeing live music, hiking in the mountains, and SCUBA diving with sharks! She has been to all 50 states and over 40 countries. She lives with her husband, Cole, and their dog, Lotus.
