LaKeeya Tucker, D.O.

Alliance Obstetrics & Gyncecology, PC welcomed Dr. LaKeeya Tucker on July 8, 2002. Dr. Tucker attended Youngstown State University where she received her undergraduate degree. Her medical school education was completed in 1998 at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. 

Dr. Tucker relocated to Michigan after medical school. She did her intern and residency training at St John Detroit Riverview and Macomb Hospital. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Some of her areas of special interest are including but not limited to:  abnormal bleeding, fibroids/ medical, and surgical management such as DaVinci robotic hysterectomy and myomectomy.  Dr. Tucker also specializes in treating patients with endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome as well as other gyn issues. She is also skilled in performing In-office procedures such as: Hysteroscopy, Novasure ablations,colposcopy and Leeps. Dr Tucker sees patients for routine women’s health care and preventative maintenance, abnormal pap smear management, routine and problem pregnancy care. 

Dr Tucker has been a medical director/advisor for “It’s a Breast Thing” program since 2011. It is a program whose mission is to enrich the lives of local breast cancer patients on their journey to better health.

She was one of the featured “local stars” in the 2012 “Dancing with the Local Stars” for the Carefree Clinic.

Dr Tucker is a member of ACOG, ACOOG, amongst many other medical societies. She is a member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church and a member of the Lansing East Lansing Links. She, her family, and her Alliance family enjoy giving back to the community.

She is happily married to her husband, Larry and has 1 daughter, 1 son and 4 step children.

Hobbies: Hanging out with family and friends, ballroom and Chicago step dancing, reading novels, sudoku, exercising and shopping.
