Melissa Halvorson, MD

Dr. Melissa Halvorson was born and raised in Minnewaukan, North Dakota.  She attended undergraduate (B.S. in Education/Biology and medical school) at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota.  She did her residency at Butterworth Hospital (Spectrum) in Grand Rapids, MI.   She practiced at Livingston Hospital in Howell, Michigan and joined Alliance Ob/Gyn in 2004.  Her interests include general  obstetrics and gynecology.  Procedures of interest are the endometrial (Novasure) ablation and LASH - laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy.  She is married to Dan with four children.  When she has time for hobbies she enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and gardening.
